FINAL OPENING SEQUENCE - CAPTIVE
PRELIMINARY TASK

Initial Idea
After recieving the brief we each came up with an idea to suggest to the group:
The original idea I had was a chase scene, with one character being followed by another in a busy London street. I envisioned many cross cuts between the two characters as they became ‘lost in the crowd’, with lots of glances around, and the mood being tense and panicked.
However, we decided this idea would not be possible as the continuity would be far too difficult in a busy street where the people are constantly changing; we wouldn’t be able to get enough actors to pull it off.
I was also interested in making a rom-com opening, but i decided not to develop the idea any further as I didn't think it would be very easy to make look realistic.
